SCALAR

Asset Integrity Management platform

In developmentRBIIDMSFFSPIMs

Asset integrity work is rarely limited by method. It is limited by where the data sits: the inspection history in one system, the corrosion analysis in a spreadsheet, the fitness-for-service calculation in a second spreadsheet, and the risk ranking in a document nobody has reopened since the last turnaround. SCALAR puts all four against the same equipment record, so each assessment reads from what the last one wrote.

Capabilities

What it does

01

Risk-Based Inspection

Qualitative through fully quantitative assessment to API 580 and API 581. Probability and consequence of failure are computed from the equipment's own damage mechanisms, materials and process conditions, and inspection intervals fall out of the risk ranking rather than being maintained alongside it.

02

Inspection Data Management

Thickness monitoring across every condition monitoring location, with short- and long-term corrosion rates, remaining life and due-date alerts computed from one continuous measurement history — not from the last two readings someone happened to compare.

03

Fitness-for-Service

Level 1 and Level 2 assessments to API 579-1 / ASME FFS-1 for general and local metal loss, pitting and blistering, run against the same thickness data the inspection module already holds. No re-entry, no second version of the geometry.

04

Pipeline Integrity

In-line inspection analysis with corrosion growth modelling and estimated repair factor to ASME B31G, Modified B31G and RSTRENG — so a tool run becomes a prioritised repair plan with dates on it, not a spreadsheet of anomalies.

If this is a problem you have on your assets, the fastest way to influence what gets built next is to say so now.
